Members and guests gathered in the Lounge and in the Theater on Saturday, April 30 — the last day of our fiscal year — to celebrate that we're still here. While we know that we aren't yet out of the woods, things are so much better than they were even a year ago. There is light coming through the trees. We see a path forward, and we are moving along that path.
Both in history and in our personal lives, the darkest of times are often followed by a rebirth, a reawakening, a reimagining. The same is true of The Woman's Club. We will continue to deal with the challenges we encounter, but we are moving out of the darkness. May 1 is the start of the new fiscal year, and it is the beginning of a renaissance at The Woman's Club.
