About the Event
The play tells the fictional story of her relationship with William Shakespeare, her tremendous skill as a writer and her determination to thrive and uplift woman's voices at a time when laws were designed to restrict women's rights. Written by Morgan Lloyd Malcom, directed by Marcela Lorca, with music by Peter Vitale, Emilia features performance by Maggie Chestovich, Sun Mee Chomet, Jula Diaz, George Keller, Greta Oglesby, Mo Perry, Kimberly Richardson, Sophina Saggau and Marisa Tejeda.
