The Future of Human Rights and International Law
Hosted in the Centennial Room on the 5th Floor of the Woman's Club.
Social hour will begin at 5:30 with small snacks and a full bar available.
Presentation will start at 6:00.
Human rights are basic rights that all humans should have, but enforcing them is difficult in a world filled with poverty, tyranny, and corruption. We will discuss the origins of the concepts of human rights, international human rights law, and legal and political mechanisms for protecting human rights.
