Michael Meeropol is a retired professor of economics and the older son of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg. His parents were convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage related to the passing of atomic secrets to the Soviet Union and were executed in 1953. With this presentation, Mr. Meeropol will launch the new Roosevelt/Willkie Forum named for Eleanor Roosevelt, political figure, activist, and diplomat, and Wendell Willkie, attorney, corporate executive, the 1940 Republican nominee for president of the United States, and author of One World, a travelogue and vision for world peace.
