2026 marks the 80th anniversary of local kitchenware manufacturer Nordic Ware. Recognized for its exceptional baking sheets and as the creator of the iconic Bundt® Pan, the company also produces extensive lines of American-made cookware, bakeware, barbecue, and microwave products that enjoy distribution across North America and in countries around the world. Founded by H. David and Dorothy Dalquist in 1946, the company continues to innovate and expand while remaining family-owned and operated. It is worth noting that Dorothy was an active member of the Woman’s Club of Minneapolis for many years.
Heritage, history, and current initiatives of interest will be shared by Susan Brust and Kelsie Schmit, daughter and granddaughter of the founders.
