In the Community
From making community outreach grants and funding scholarships to advocating for children and aiding the underserved, The Woman's Club of Minneapolis has, for a century, been a powerful force for good in this community.
Since its founding, the Club has granted more than $4 million to local organizations that support social and civic concerns, and our members provide hundreds of volunteer hours to these causes each year.
The Woman's Club of Minneapolis awards grants to local agencies and nonprofits that meet our criteria for funding. Learn about the criteria used by viewing our 2008 grant guidelines.
Three times each year a Blood Drive is hosted at the Woman's Club in cooperation with Memorial Blood Centers. If you live in our neighborhood, mark your calendar for the second Saturdays of October, February, and June to make a donation close to home. It's so easy!
The Club also restored and maintains the Ard Godfrey House, the oldest remaining frame residence in Minneapolis, as a historic site and resource.
