Tuesday Programs: Dunwoody College of Technology–The Rise of 3D Printing
Guest Speaker: Jazmine Darden
Jazmine Darden is an aspiring entrepreneur who is always looking for new ways to teach and apply her 3D-printing knowledge. Among many other business ventures, she hopes to own and run a learning facility where curious students of all ages could take classes on various STEM topics.
Jazmine is the 3D printing instructor in the Department of Robotics and Manufacturing at Dunwoody College of Technology. Prior to attending Dunwoody, Jazmine received her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor's of Arts in Physics, both from Augsburg College in 2013. Jazmine earned her Associate's degree from Dunwoody in 2017 in Engineering, Drafting & Design. While completing the program, she specialized in 3D printing and built her own 3D printer from scratch. She now owns 15 printers that she frequently uses for youth and community outreach projects.
