Tuesday Programs: Lyme Among Us
Guest Speaker: Julie Zelle
Julie Zelle is an ordained UCC minister whose primary work over the past 30 years has been in the area of pediatric hospice and homecare. She has also provided chaplaincy services in youth detention facilities and an adolescent addiction treatment program. Her interest in youth wellbeing and empowerment has been enriched over the past 14 years by her involvement with Project Success as an active Board member. Other Board work has included United Theological Seminary, United Way, On Being, Marbrook Foundation and Xelias Aerial Arts.
When her daughter, Charlotte, was diagnosed with Advanced Lyme Disease in 2013, Julie did all she could to learn about the disease and to advocate for those who suffer from this complex and often misunderstood illness.
The Tuesday Program is a Club tradition to educate, inspire and entertain our Members and guests.
