Tuesday Program: Reflections on People and Politics in Minnesota
Guest Speaker: Lori Sturdevant
For more than 40 years, Lori Sturdevant worked for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, starting as a summer replacement reporter in 1975. She moved on to be the lead Capitol reporter before joining the editorial board staff in 1992.
In addition to her work as a reporter, Sturdevant is the author of 11 books about notable Minnesotans, including Elmer L. Andersen, Rosalie Wahl, and the Pillsbury family. Her most recent publication is When Republicans Were Progressive, written with Senator Dave Durenberger.
The Tuesday Program is a Club tradition to educate, inspire and entertain our Members and guests. Coffee and tea are served at 10:30 am in the Lounge, followed by a Guest Speaker in the Ballroom at 11:00 am and lunch in the Dining Room at 12:00 pm. The cost for lunch is $18.00 plus tax and service charge ($23.28, inclusive of tax and service). Reservations are not necessary.
