Tuesday Program - Living with Childhood Autism: The Family and Community Experience
Guest Speaker: Jocelyn Gorlin
In this Tuesday Program, speaker Jocelyn Gorlin will help shed light on autism in the United States. Program guests will get a better understanding of autism symptoms, how family members and the community can support families raising a child with autism, and much more.
ocelyn is an assistant professor in the School of Nursing at Saint Catherine University. She has been a pediatric nurse practitioner in hematology for more than 25 years. She was one of the first nurse practitioners at Boston Children's Hospital and was on the forefront of the pediatric AIDS epidemic, caring for children with hemophilia and AIDS. In 2018 she received the Daisy outstanding faculty award at Saint Catherine and was recognized as Outstanding Nurse Educator 2018 by Mpls/St Paul Magazine.
The Tuesday Program is a Club tradition to educate, inspire and entertain our Members and guests. Coffee and tea are served at 10:30 am in the Lounge, followed by a Guest Speaker in the Ballroom at 11:00 am and lunch in the Dining Room at 12:00 pm. The cost for lunch is $18.00 plus tax and service charge ($23.28, inclusive of tax and service). Reservations are not necessary.
