Lots of Pictures and a Little Speculation from Lara Neel

We will talk and learn about how feminism and fashion collide, both right now and in the past. Did you know that 75% of people employed in the global garment industry are women? Can shopping for and choosing clothes be a feminist act? Would you be surprised to hear that high heels, short skirts and even leggings worn with a tunic were originally clothes meant for men? Would the clothes you’re wearing today have gotten you arrested 100 years ago? Who broke the “rules” and got away with it? Please join us! Tie not required!

$18.00 plus tax and service charge ($23.28, inclusive of tax and service).
Cancellation deadline: Wednesday, April 4.
RSVP through the Front Desk at or 612-813-5300.
